Not only do I have now a much clearer and more developed understanding of the Shi’a positions but I also appreciated our lecturer’s ability to make things clear with which I had struggled in the past, e.g. getting to grips with Ibn Arabi and distinguishing the finer points between Asharite and Mutazilite theology.
